Emily O’Banion, Senior Vice President of Integrated Healthcare Delivery, leads Rochester Regional Health in the continuum of care throughout its five hospitals, eight senior living facilities and more than 87 primary care and ambulatory locations.
O’Banion joined Rochester Regional Health a year after the merger of Rochester General Hospital and Unity Hospital. She helped create a cohesive environment focused on patient care and quality through plans and processes aimed at reducing costs and optimizing resources.
Before beginning with Rochester Regional health, Emily was OhioHealth’s System Vice President for Process Excellence and led the development of system-wide continuous improvement strategies. She also served as a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting for seven years.
She earned a master’s degree in health administration from The University of Iowa College of Public Health in Iowa City, and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
