The Oral History Project was initiated in 1996 by the Genesee Hospital Archives committee. Over these past fifteen years, the project has yielded 52 oral histories and still continues to seek out former staff of the hospital and graduates of the school of nursing to record their experiences and memories of The Genesee Hospital.

The Genesee Hospital Archives oral history committee has compiled a collection of oral history summaries detailing the participants, key topics of discussion and names of other people mentioned in the interviews. The Genesee summaries are available for viewing.
