What is Camp Broncho-Power?

Camp Broncho-Power is a three day, two night camp designed to be a fun educational experience to improve the management of asthma. Educational sessions promote understanding of asthma and activities to improve your child’s confidence with his or her asthma in a setting that is full of games, crafts, and fun!

Who should attend?

Children with moderate to severe asthma between the ages of 6 and 11 years are encouraged to attend.

Who staffs the camp?

The camp will be staffed by nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, health educators, social workers, and physicians, along with many specially trained volunteers.

Where will my child sleep?

The children will be sleeping on mattresses in a lodge.

Will meals be served?

All meals will be served at camp. Children with food allergies will be accommodated.

What activities will there be?

  • Splash Pad
  • Other Fun Activities

What about medicine?

Your child’s medication, brought from home, will be administered and monitored by the camp medical staff.

What is the cost of camp?

Bronchopower Camp Broncho Power is FREE for qualified campers.
