The Rochester General Hospital Diagnostic Residency has been training radiologists for over 35 years and has made its own mark on advancing radiology and medical education. Rochester General Hospital serves as the tertiary hospital for a wider health system encompassing five hospitals and numerous clinics stretching from Buffalo to Syracuse. The Program offers 16 spots in DR and an additional 5 spots in DR/IR. Both programs are ACGME accredited, with the new DR/IR pathway being one of the first in the country. The training encompasses the academics of university-based programs and the real-world exposure encountered in private practice—offering residents the unique ability to practice across all ranges of radiology.
