||Sandra A. Hellmann, MD, FAAP
“I often refer to my patients as my kids. I enjoy seeing them becoming their own person and, later on, starting to make their own decisions.”
Dr. Hellmann joined the Wayne Medical Group in July 1995. She began practicing in the Sodus office and moved to the Williamson office five years later. She earned her medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, and subsequently completed the pediatric residency program at Columbus Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio before returning to her western New York roots.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending with her children, reading, knitting, swimming, and working in her gardens.
||Kristen M. Christian, MD, FAAP
Dr. Kristen Christian grew up in a large family in the Buffalo area. Given her long-held passion for the study of biology and for interacting with children, becoming a pediatrician was a logical career choice. She completed her medical school training at the State University of New York School of Medicine at Buffalo, and her pediatric residency at University Hospital in Syracuse. She is board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Christian has practiced in the Rochester area since 1999. She joined Rochester Regional Health System in January of 2015, and looks forward to serving the community at Williamson Pediatrics for many more years to come. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as biking, hiking, and kayaking.
