Pulmonary Services Now Offered at NWCH

wahl gary mdGary Wahl, M.D. and David Lee, M.D., from the Department of Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at Rochester General Health System (RGHS) will provide consultative pulmonary services for inpatients and outpatients at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital weekdays starting on Monday, August 27th. Dr. Wahl is the chief of Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine for RGHS. This new service will enable patients and families living in Wayne County and the Finger Lakes Region to receive high quality pulmonary care in their community.

The service will be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will include consultations, pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopies. For the convenience of patients requiring these services, consultations and pulmonary function testing can be scheduled during the same appointment.

lee david mdThe Pulmonary Department will be co-located with the Hospitalist Office on the 1st floor (across from Cardiac Rehabilitation). Outpatients should park in the Outpatient parking near the Emergency Department and should go directly to the Pulmonary Department for registration.
