Medical Boot Camp

July 16, 2014

photo9Rochester Regional Health System is in the business of providing the best patient care possible. And this week our first-year residents traveled to St. John Fisher College for a medical boot camp. The event brought first-year internal medicine and pharmacy residents, nurse practitioner students and respiratory therapists together to lean about the importance of teamwork in patient care. In a simulated environment, using state-of-the-art technology, the medical teams were tested in a variety of medical situations which challenged their knowledge and collaborative skills. Congratulations to all of those participating and to St. John Fisher for hosting this terrific opportunity.
