Rochester Regional Health System Lifts Flu Visitor Restrictions

February 10, 2015

Visitor restrictions implemented for the flu outbreak are now lifted at Rochester General Hospital, Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, United Memorial Medical Center and Unity Hospital due to a decrease in flu cases in our area.

Restrictions were put in place as a precaution to safeguard our patients when flu was widespread, and temporarily limited each patient to two visitors at a time. Children under age 14 and people with flu symptoms were also prohibited from visiting patients.

We will continue to monitor the flu outbreak in our area and will keep you apprised of any changes.

Thank you for your support throughout the flu season.
