Thumbs Up SUNY Brockport

May 7, 2015

Thumbs up to SUNY Brockport students and their professor Luke Bernier who recently presented the Golisano Restorative Neurology and Rehabilitation Program at Unity Hospital with a check for $1,730.

Luke and his students hosted a 5K ‘Zombie Run’ at the college to raise money for the program in the name of a former patient and personal friend of Luke, Timothy Carr, of Spencerport. Timothy was a patient at the Golisano Center for several weeks following a bicycle accident. This is the third year Luke has organized this fundraiser with his students.
