Rochester, N.Y. - Effective November 1, Rochester Regional Health will acquire Eastside Medical Urgent Care in Penfield. The urgent care center will be the newest member of the Rochester Region –Team Health family of Immediate Care Centers.

“This acquisition aligns with our goal to bring convenient and cost-effective healthcare to families throughout the region,” said Eric Bieber, MD, President and CEO of Rochester Regional Health. “The Rochester Regional Immediate Care Center in Penfield will build on the tradition of compassion and quality that the Eastside Medical Urgent Care team has brought to the community for thirteen years.”

“Rochester Regional Health Immediate Care is a joint venture between Rochester Regional Health and TeamHealth, a leading physician services organization,” said Joseph Chow, MD, President of TeamHealth Ambulatory Care. “We are pleased to have Eastside Medical Urgent Care join Rochester Regional Health Immediate Care and expand our presence in the community.”

The location at 2226 Penfield Road joins the Rochester Regional Health Immediate Care family expanding the organization’s services to Penfield, New York. Eastside Medical Urgent Care has offered urgent care services to approximately 20,000 patients annually.
