Rochester Regional Names New OB-GYN Leader at Unity Hospital
Mary Mulconry, MD replaces retiring Albert Jones, MD
Rochester, NY – Rochester Regional Health announced Marcy Mulconry, MD, FACOG, has been named department chair, OB-GYN, Unity Hospital. She succeeds Albert Jones, MD who retired earlier this year.
Dr. Mulconry will be responsible for clinical oversight of the department’s physicians and advanced practice providers. Working collaboratively with administrative and clinical leaders, as well as with the multidisciplinary care team, Dr. Mulconry will ensure the delivery of the highest quality of OB-GYN patient care.
Dr. Mulconry joined Rochester Regional Health in 2014, most recently at Rochester Regional Health Obstetrics & Gynecology – Clinton Crossing. She previously served as assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Mulconry studied public health at Hunter College School of Health Science in New York before earning her doctor of medicine from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Mulconry is an American Congress of Obstetrician and Gynecologists Fellow.
