Rochester Regional Health and Columbia/Wegman Expand Senior Living Communities with New Assisted Living & Memory Care Facility in Greece
Rochester, NY – Rochester Regional Health celebrated the opening of a new assisted living and memory care community, The Village at Mill Landing on Mill Road in the town of Greece. The two-story, 134-unit community offers assisted living and memory care apartments, as well as enhanced assisted living and memory care, which allows residents to age in place in their apartments with access to more hands-on care and clinical services. Here, residents can also expect a peaceful, low-stress environment with an enclosed courtyard and beautiful memory garden.
“The opening of The Village at Mill Landing is a critical step toward ensuring we are always ready to address the needs of our community’s growing number of seniors,” explained Don Felter, president of Rochester Regional Senior Housing.
The Village at Mill Landing provides key health care and lifestyle services that give residents and their loved ones peace of mind while giving them independence to enjoy their everyday lives. Residents have access to a registered nurse care manager, a personal emergency response system, freshly prepared meals, social and recreational programs, 24/7 assistance with personal care needs and local weekday transportation. The Memory Care amenities are specially designed for residents experiencing dementia.
The Village at Mill Landing was developed and built in collaboration with Columbia/Wegman, a national assisted living community developer, and is part of the Rochester Regional Health network of hospitals, outpatient facilities, physicians and services.
