In April 2019, the Lipson Cancer Institute at Rochester General Hospital received a three-year reaccreditation from the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Commission on Cancer (CoC) program. This notable recognition marks our 40th year receiving this accreditation – making RGH the first and longest running Cancer-accredited program in our region.

CoC accreditation recognizes cancer care programs for their commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality, patient-centered care. Certification includes an on-site survey that evaluates the entire scope, organization and activities of a cancer program.

This outstanding recognition reflects the dedicated, high-quality cancer care RGH and Lipson Cancer Institute team members provide. Congratulations to the entire team for your hard work and devotion to achieve this accomplishment!
