Free Skin Cancer Screening

May 8, 2019

Rochester Regional Health’s Department of Dermatology is teaming up with the American Academy of Dermatology to provide free skin cancer screenings on Saturday, May 11 from 9 am to noon at Lipson Cancer Center. Screening is offered to all ages on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is necessary.

Each year there are more new cases of skin cancer than breast, prostate, lung and colon cancers combined, according to the American Cancer Society. An annual skin cancer screening can help detect any current problems and also uncover risk factors for the future.

For more information about the free screening clinic, contact the Department of Dermatology at 585.922.9778.
