Marc Eigg, MD, FACOG is the Director of Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery for West Ridge Obstetrics & Gynecology, LLP. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Ob/Gyn with the University of Rochester and Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn with Saba University.
Dr. Eigg is dual board certified in Ob/Gyn and board certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a member of the American Urogynecological Society and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, as well as a certified Proctor for thedaVinci® Robotic Surgical System and a member of the Rochester General Hospital Robotics committee. After earning his medical degree from the State of New York, Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, Dr. Eigg completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center. An expert in managing pelvic floor disorders with and without surgery, he has special clinical interest in advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy, endometriosis, female incontinence evaluation/treatment and advanced pelvic surgical reconstruction. Dr. Eigg resides in Perinton with his wife and two children. His hobbies include running and biking.
Dr. Eigg has been recognized by the Surgical Review Corporation Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG) designated physician and Master Surgeon in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, a demonstration of his expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches for women.
