Dr. Klibanoff believes in patient-centered but problem-focused care, with both doctor and clinical nurse-guided care throughout. He takes a comprehensive approach to all musculoskeletal conditions, including assistance with realistic weight-control methods as they relate to joint complaints and surgical options.
Dr. John Klibanoff was raised in Massachusetts. He attended the University of Virginia for undergraduate in 1986 in biology with a theses in Virology and Marine Biology. He completed his Medical School in Massachusetts from 19861990, and did his Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Minnesota from 1990 to 1995. Dr. Klibanoff specializes in Joint Reconstruction, Limb Reconstruction, Sports and Trauma. He is a father of four children. Outside of work he is an instructor of TeamSTEPPS and a Fellow AAOS. Furthermore, Dr. Klibanoff is the current Chair of the Board of Directors of the Rochester City Ballet, Treasurer of Brigid's Hope, and a member of the US Gymnastics National Healthcare Referral Network.
In addition to his other orthopaedic specialties, Dr. Klibanoff also performs ROSA total knee replacements using the Robotic Surgical Assistant.
