I pride myself in treating the whole patient and not just their disease. I approach treatment with a holistic approach with a focus on lifestyle modification. I encourage my patients to take ownership of their health and be accountable for their choices regarding their disease. I advocate for prevention first and for stopping progression when disease is already present. I am highly interested in lifestyle medicine and teach my patients that food and exercise are the best medicine first! I am also an advocate and ally to the LGBTQ community and enjoy providing safe and effective care to that population.
I love being outdoors doing any activity such as hiking, biking, kayaking , and running. I enjoy spending time with my family any chance I get. I also have a love for travel and experiencing new cities, parks, and beaches.
My husband and I have lived in Rochester, NY and the Finger Lakes Region for most of our lives. We spent some time in Charlottesville, VA. We are the parents to three grown men, two daughter-in-laws, and a soon to be son-in-law. We recently have become grandparents to the most adorable baby boy! My husband and I enjoy escaping our busy life to relax and enjoy the outdoors in the Adirondack Mountains, where we have both become 46ers!
