Nathan Odom, MD
Medical Director, Golisano Restorative Neurology & Rehabilitation Center
Dr. Odom specializes in acute rehabilitation, with an interest in neuro-rehabilitation and concussion management.
He holds a B.A. in History from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Science. He interned in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Dr. Odom’s honors from the Unity Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation include the Excellence in Resident Seminars Award (2011 and 2012), Strong Star Award (2011 and 2012) and Spirit of Carol Award for Humanistic Qualities (2011).
He co-authored Knowledge Now: Multiple Sclerosis
with K. Rao Poduri, M.D., published November 17, 2011 by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a mentor for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medical Student Interest Group, and his lectures include multiple grand rounds, medical student lectures and teaching.
