Earlando Thomas, MD, FACOG is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, in addition to being a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology-designated surgeon. He has special interests in urogynecology, advanced laparoscopic/robotic-assisted surgery and resident education.
Dr. Thomas earned his Doctor of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of the West Indies (1994), received training in urogynecology in the United Kingdom and completed his residency in Ob/Gyn at Rochester General Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. As an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Rochester, Dr. Thomas supervises residents and medical students. In his spare time, he enjoys going on medical missions, running, playing golf and spending time with his family.
Dr. Thomas has been recognized by the Surgical Review Corporation Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG) designated physician and Master Surgeon in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, a demonstration of his expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches for women.
