What to Expect Rochester Regional Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation will assess your risk factors and current health condition, and create a custom program for recovery that may involve modifying your lifestyle and incorporating exercise/activity. We then monitor your progress and help provide motivation to keep you on the right track. While our programs are tailored to your individual needs, a typical schedule involves up to 36 sessions over as many as 18 weeks. We can work with you on an inpatient or outpatient basis, and the frequency of our services will vary based on your clinical status, risk stratification, risk factor status and progress/goals. Many of our patients have diseases, conditions or lifestyle concerns that have contributed to their heart or lung disease.
