Personalized Infusions Focused on You

Rochester Regional Infusion Centers offer patients in Monroe County, Genesee County, and the Finger  Lakes regions the care they need in their own community.  The Centers deliver diagnostic, treatment, and support services needed by patients, while enabling them to pursue their family, work, and leisure activities as normally as possible.  Our Centers offer rooms equipped with televisions and comfortable seating for your family and supportive friends.  Free Wi-Fi allows you to listen to your favorite music, watch television or a movie, or get online and catch up on emails during your treatment.  We provide a soothing, friendly environment to help you feel at ease while you’re here.

The Centers are staffed by Infusion Nurses who are trained to provide blood transfusions, IV and IM medication administration, and therapeutic phlebotomy. The Infusion Centers also provide care for patients with PICC lines, a special IV catheter that is inserted into a vein and is used to administer drugs or antibiotics over a long period of time. Our Professionals

Having confidence in your caregivers is one of the most important things to help you through your cancer and infusion experience. The United Memorial Cancer and Infusion Center is affiliated with the Rochester Regional Lipson Cancer Institute. Our partnership allows us to bring board-certified oncologists and specialty trained nursing staff to Genesee County, giving you quality care right at home.

Nurses: Our nurses are registered nurses with expertise in administering intravenous infusions and are Oncology Nurse Certified by the National Oncology Nursing Society.

Pharmacists: Our pharmacists have a broad knowledge of chemotherapeutic and other infusion agents and management of side effects. They also work to keep patients and staff safe during medication administration.

Patient Access Team: The Patient Access Team helps patients feel comfortable during their visit with us and helps family members feel confident leaving their loved ones in our care.

We recognize that no two patients are the same. The treatments and infusions you receive are individualized and very patient-specific. It's difficult to predict the time your infusion will take. Time will vary depending on the medication you are receiving, your specific diagnosis, and your method of treatment. Your physician or someone from the Center will discuss with you how long your sessions will last prior to your first appointment.
