Our physical therapists are specially trained in treating conditions that are unique to women, such as urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic pain and pregnancy-related pain. Common urinary issues include stress incontinence, urge incontinence or a combination of both. Your therapist can help determine whether you have musculoskeletal issues causing urinary incontinence and develop a treatment plan that may include:

  • Instruction on altering or modifying behaviors
  • Education on anatomy, nutrition and possible contributors to symptoms
  • Biofeedback
  • Exercise
  • Electrical stimulation
  • Manual therapy
