Michael Haben, MD

Dr. Haben is a fellowship-trained laryngological laser surgeon specializing in voice, swallowing, breathing disorders and larynx cancer. His fellowship experience includes time spent with Dr. Robert Bastian, of the Bastian Voice Institute in Chicago, a nationally-recognized voice and singing expert, and Professor Wolfgang Steiner of Germany, who pioneered voicebox preserving laser surgery for cancer. His research, backed by a fellowship at the prestigious NIH, involves Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and cancers of the larynx. Links to Dr. Haben's articles can be found below. Dr. Haben is also recognized by the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association as a designated expert in BoTox therapy for voice disorders.

salamonefrank Frank Salamone, MD

Dr. Salamone completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Cincinnati and medical school at the University at Buffalo. While in Cincinnati, Dr. Salamone conducted research in pediatric airway disease and head and neck cancer gene therapy. In addition to general otolaryngology, Dr. Salamone has a special interest in pediatric otolaryngology and head and neck cancer surgery. Dr. Salamone is Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at Rochester General Hospital.

kozara Kevin Kozara, DO

Dr. Kozara is a Western New York native and obtained his undergraduate education from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After attending medical school at KCOM in Missouri, he went on to complete internship and residency training in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery through Michigan State University. Dr. Kozara is highly skilled in all aspects of otolaryngology and has special interests in facial plastic surgery, otology and sinus disorders. He also enjoys caring for pediatric patients. He brings with him to Rochester his wife and three young children, as well as a love for music, golf and sailing.

mulbury_peter  Peter Mulbury, MD

Dr. Mulbury completed his otolaryngology residency at the University of Rochester, where he also received his M.D. degree in 1970. A native of Windham, New York, he received his B.S. degree from Cornell University. In addition to general otolaryngology, Dr. Mulbury's areas of special interest are otology and pediatric otolaryngology. In his leisure time, Dr. Mulbury enjoys golf, gardening and spending time with his wife Anne, four grown children and grandchildren.

 oliver_robert Robert Oliver, MD

Dr. Oliver is a board certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon at Rochester General Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and directs the allergy portion of his practice.  He completed his residency training at Yale University and medical school at the University of Rochester. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

While at Yale he conducted research in psychosocial medicine and quality of life issues for head and neck cancer patients.  Before setting out on the road to medicine, Dr Oliver worked as a professional trombonist, performing in both classical and commercial settings. He has incorporated his passion for music in caring for the professional voice and was the Director of the Raymond Cole, M.D. Voice Center in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Dr. Oliver lives in Canandaigua with his wife and two children.  He plays lead trombone with the Rochester Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra (www.rocjazz.com) and is a member of the Dave Richey Trombone Choir. More recently, he has become involved with InterVol and participates in their annual medical mission to Dangriga, Belize. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages and welcomes the opportunity to serve his community.


Ronald Pulli, MD

Dr. Pulli completed the otolaryngology residency program at the University of Rochester Medical Center. His practice includes general otolaryngology services with special interest in head and neck cancer and pediatrics. Other areas of professional emphasis include: surgical treatment of thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland disorders.

 SalehAmy Amy Saleh, MD

Dr. Amy Saleh is board certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a participant in the Academy’s MOC (Maintenance of Certification) process. She is a native of western NY and graduated from Pembroke High School in 1999.  She majored in Microbiology at the University at Buffalo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2003.  Dr. Saleh obtained her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY graduating in 2007.  She completed a residency in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery in 2012 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Saleh specializes in the medical and surgical management of head and neck diseases with particular clinical interests in pediatric otolaryngology, diseases of the nose and sinuses, endoscopic sinus surgery, otolaryngic allergy, diseases of the salivary glands, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, hearing and ear disorders, snoring and sleep disorders.

Paul Topf, MD

Dr. Topf earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is board certified in Otolaryngology and has a special interest in sinus disorders, nose surgery (rhinoplasty), and thyroid removal surgery (Thyroidectomy).
