NEW: Visitor Restrictions at Rochester Regional Health Facilities

Rochester Regional Health is implementing new restrictions and screenings in response to COVID-19.

As Rochester Regional Health continues to optimize our readiness efforts surrounding COVID-19, we have important updates regarding visitor restrictions and screening policies at our locations.

In collaboration with the Monroe County Health Department, all Rochester Regional Health facilities are implementing enhanced visitor restrictions and visitor screenings beginning Monday, March 16 at 5pm.

Access to our facilities will be limited to designated entrances only and they will be staffed to screen visitors at arrival.

Visitor Restrictions and Screening Details

  • System-wide hospital and facility entrances will be reduced to designated entry doors until further notice.
  • Limited visitation will be allowed for the following patients only:
    • Pediatric patients may have one designated guardians on-site at a time.
    • End-of-life patients may have one on-site visitor at a time.
    • Obstetrical patients may have one on-site visitor at a time.

Note: Visitors and guardians for patients above must remain in the room for the entirety of their visit. Once they leave the room, they must leave the premises. Visitors and guardians must be symptom-free (no coughing, no fever, no runny nose) and must not have knowingly been exposed to an individual with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.

Skilled Nursing Facilities: No visitors will be permitted to visit our skilled nursing facilities until further notice.

Volunteer Programs: All Rochester Regional Health volunteer programs are placed on hold until further notice.
