2024 Summer Student Volunteer Program

The RGH Summer Student Volunteer program is now accepting applications!

Program Description

This program is designed for high school and undergraduate students to have opportunities to:

• Get a feel for what it is like to be in a hospital setting
• Observe medical professionals and their interactions with patients
• Gain experience in the medical field
• Interact with patients and learn about their needs
• Give back and make a difference

Students are eligible for this program if:

• At least 14 by June 24^th, 2024 or an undergraduate student.
• Participate in the entire program - from start to finish.
• Attend required orientation (Dated TBD)

Key Dates

Sessions 

• Session #1 (June 24^th- July 19th)
• Session #2 (July 22^nd-August 16^th)

Applications

• Session 1: Open March 4^th-April 5^th

• Session 2: Open April 8^th-May 3rd

Group Interviews

• Session #1:Week of April 15^th, 2024
• Session #2: Week of May 13^th, 2024

Program Acceptance or Wait-List Decisions

• Session #1: April 24th, 2024
• Session #2: May 22^nd, 2024
