Dr. Wagner attended medical school at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, before he completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He received extensive training in complex total hip and total knee replacement surgery, and elected to complete a one-year fellowship sub-specializing in joint replacement at The New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. There, he received specialized training in the most cutting-edge techniques in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. He trained specifically on the direct anterior approach for total hip replacement, which is aimed at quicker recovery for patients. Dr. Wagner's practice focuses on problems of the hip and knee, as well as fractures involving the lower extremity. He performs minimally-invasive direct anterior total hip arthroplasty and partial knee replacements, in addition to total knee replacements using ROSA, the total knee replacement surgical assistant . He also specializes in treating failed or problematic hip and knee replacements, in addition to managing infected joint replacements. Dr. Wagner is committed to staying up-to-date for the benefit of his patients.
