Injuries can change the shape and function of the ankle or foot, making walking and completing daily activities extremely hard. Our RRH team offers comprehensive podiatric and orthopedic care.

Foot and ankle arthritis usually happens after a natural and gradual wear and tear of the cartilage in your joints. It can cause foot and ankle pain, stiffness or a grinding or clicking feeling in your joints. 

Our Sports Medicine team specializes in treating ankle injuries, including fractures, sprains, muscle strains and Achilles tendon tears. These injuries are often caused by sports or repetitive activities like running or skating but can also be caused by things like tripping or falls.

Rochester Regional Health is home to some of our area’s only experts in ankle joint replacement surgeries. Because they are less common, these procedures require expertise and skill in microsurgery and the use of artificial joints – both of which you can find at RRH.
