Most, but not all, blood samples can be collected in all of our PSC’s. In order to preserve specimen integrity, the following table lists tests for which blood samples that can only be collected at a PSC with immediate access to a hospital laboratory.

Many of the tests performed at ACM and RRH Laboratories have already been harmonized. When looking at results in Care Connect, those tests that are harmonized will appear together on the same line in Results View, while those with different methods and/or reference ranges will be reported on a different line. Hovering over the result in Care Connect will display the testing lab and the associated reference range for that result. Those providers accessing test results on hard copy or through non-EPIC systems will need to associate the result with the performing laboratory’s reference range listed on the report.
