When Can I Use Telemedicine?

Telemedicine is a great option for many appointment types. Our providers evaluate patients for the following:

  • various non-urgent symptoms
  • follow-up visits (including post-surgical follow-up)
  • mental health services
  • pain management
  • medication monitoring
  • pediatric visits
  • evaluate symptoms of COVID-19

Please call your doctor's office if you need help determining whether telemedicine is right for your current needs, or if you'll need to be seen in person.

Types of Visits

Scheduled visits - Offered at select practices, you can schedule an appointment to see your regular provider instead of heading into their office

On-Demand visits - Available to all patients, you can wait in a virtual queue to see the next available RRH provider

TytoHome visits - Enhance your virtual visit with the TytoCare Medical Exam Kit

How to Connect to Telemedicine

Secure and Private Connection

Just like an in-person visit, your virtual visit is secure, private, and entirely confidential. To maintain privacy on your end, it is important that you contact your provider from a private and secure location, like your home. Your home is likely to be the safest place for a telemedicine visit.

Insurance and Costs

Our top priority is to ensure that you and your family receive the best possible care and are well informed about all aspects of your treatment, including your insurance coverage.

Prior to your telemedicine appointment, you should review your insurance plan to make sure your plan includes coverage for telemedicine appointments. Most insurance plans provide some level of coverage. However, you may need to pay some of the expenses, like a co-payment, at the time of your visit.

If you have questions about your insurance coverage, please contact us prior to your appointment to discuss the details of your plan.
