Dr. Patricia Hughes is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship trained in bariatric surgery. She is affiliated with several Rochester Regional Health Hospitals, including Rochester General Hospital, Unity Hospital, and United Memorial Medical Center. Dr.Hughes has been serving the Western New York area since 2018. Dr. Hughes specializes in bariatric surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis, Oregon, and residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. Her Bariatric surgery fellowship was completed at Peachtree Surgical and Bariatrics in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr.Hughes has a passion for making a positive impact on patients’ lives via bariatric surgery.
