Marshall Birthing Center Update
After serving families in Wayne County and surrounding communities for more than 70 years, we’ve made the difficult decision to suspend inpatient Labor & Delivery, newborn nursery, and postpartum services at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. The Marshall Birthing Center will stop accepting new Labor & Delivery admissions after 11:59 p.m. on August 31, 2026. Patients planning to deliver at Newark-Wayne will be redirected to Rochester General Hospital or another regional birthing center. Read More About This Change
