I earned my medical degree at Bangalore Medical College in India. I then completed a transitional year of internship at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, followed by residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester. I am certified in Spinal Cord Injury medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and my areas of interest include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury medicine, stroke, spasticity, and musuloskeletal pain.
