It is very important to always remember to do something for your patient and not "to" the patient. If you treat people with respect you'll never do the wrong thing.
Dr. Thomas Russo was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. His undergraduate degree was in Biology at Gannon University in Erie, PA. While at Gannon he was involved with student government serving as a Vice President and enjoyed being a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He remained in Erie, PA to attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he completed by medical education. Dr. Russo's residency in general surgery was through Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine at Beaumont Hospital Trenton and Dearborn, Michigan. Dr. Russo is also a LECOM Medical Student Preceptor, helping to train and provide quality mentoring for student physicians at Lake Eric College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Russo keeps busy outside of work adoring his baby boy and spending as much time as he can with his family. After the baby is asleep he will certainly catch up on the NHL and NFL action.
