Dr. Sherman earned his Medical Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He completed a subsequent academic general pediatric fellowship at URMC while concurrently earning his Masters in Public Health. Dr. Sherman is board certified in general pediatrics.
A multi-year assignment with the Peace Corp in Senegal, West Africa following his undergraduate education inspired Dr. Sherman to both pursue a career in pediatric medicine and to devote a considerable portion of his time and energy to the promotion of evidence-based malaria prevention in rural West Africa.
Dr. Sherman joined Bay Creek Pediatric Group in July 2014. He and his wife reside in Brighton where they are busy raising two young sons.
