About The Provider
Adam Richman, MD, is a radiation oncologist with Rochester Regional Health who treats patients with both cancerous and benign conditions using advanced radiotherapy techniques. He specializes in IMRT/IGRT, brachytherapy, radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and radiopharmaceutical therapies, with a particular interest in gynecologic malignancies and brachytherapy.
Dr. Richman works closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists across our network to ensure each patient receives the right care, from the right provider, at the right location. This coordinated approach provides access to advanced treatment options, specialized expertise and a seamless experience throughout every stage of care.
Dr. Richman completed both medical school and residency training at UPMC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was drawn to oncology through personal experience after being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma and undergoing chemotherapy during medical school. This experience informs his approach to patient care and deepens his commitment to supporting patients throughout their cancer journey.
He tailors each treatment plan to the individual needs of his patients, combining advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care. He is dedicated to treating every patient with respect, understanding, and kindness while providing clear guidance and steady reassurance throughout treatment.
Outside of work, Dr. Richman enjoys cycling, reading, cooking, hiking, weightlifting, and playing computer games.
