Jeffrey C Haynes, MD

Jeffrey Haynes, MD, is the Executive Medical Director of Cancer Services and a radiation oncologist with Rochester Regional who treats patients with both cancerous and benign conditions using advanced radiotherapy techniques. . He specializes in IMRT/IGRT, radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and advanced radiotherapy techniques, with a particular interest in the treatment of brain, head and neck, lung, breast, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and prostate cancers. 

Dr. Haynes works closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists across our network to ensure patients receive the right care, from the right provider, at the right location. This coordinated approach provides access to advanced treatment options, specialized expertise, and a seamless experience throughout every stage of care.

Dr. Haynes is committed to helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their care. He focuses on combining advanced cancer treatment with compassionate communication and individualized support throughout the treatment process.

He earned his medical degree and completed residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Outside of work, Dr. Haynes enjoys spending time with his wife, twins, nephew, and cats, as well as running, rowing, camping, and reading fiction.
