About The Provider
Lynn Benson, MD, is an obstetrician-gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women throughout every stage of life. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Dr. Benson specializes in high-risk pregnancy, obstetric complications, gynecologic surgery, family planning, reproductive health, and preventive women's care. She emphasizes active listening, shared decision-making, and continuity of care, while advocating for health equity and improved access to care in underserved communities. Outside of work, Dr. Benson enjoys event planning and decorating, playing volleyball and tennis, mentoring students, and spending time with family and friends.
