Mark D Frey, MD

Dr. Frey is American Board of Otolaryngology Board Certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE; and completed both his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL.

Dr. Frey comes to the St. Lawrence Region with 30 years of experience, having provided services to patients in both rural communities and larger cities. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Frey noted he and his wife were looking to move to the east coast to be closer to their son and daughter-in-law in the Boston area. He felt very strongly about working for a community hospital where he can get to know his patients.

“It is important to me to address my patients as a whole person and not just a lab report or MRI. I want to get to know them so they can trust me. I feel patients have to get to know you and like you as their doctor before they will follow your instructions,” he noted.

Dr. Frey offers comprehensive ENT services and provides surgical and office visit care for patients ranging from children through to geriatrics.
