Mohammad H Abbasi, MD

Dr. Mohammad Abbasi is a cardiologist specializing in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Sands-Constellation Heart & Vascular Institute. His areas of expertise include atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter ablation, laser lead extraction, left atrial appendage occlusion, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation and management, and ventricular tachycardia and premature ventricular contraction ablation.

Dr. Abbasi earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He went on to complete fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Abbasi enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching soccer, and grilling.
