No appointment is needed. Simply join the queue and connect with a healthcare provider when one becomes available.
Yes. If your provider determines that medication is needed, they can send a prescription directly to your preferred pharmacy following your virtual visit.
For virtual urgent care visits, a provider will refer patients to any additional services needed. This may include:
- imaging such as X-rays
- blood work or urine tests
- swabs for cultures (i.e., COVID-19, influenza, strep throat)
The location and provider to which a patient is referred will depend on their primary care provider.
Visits conducted virtually will be billed to the patient’s insurance as a telemedicine visit. Check with your insurance provider about telemedicine health care coverage to see what your individual plan covers.
Video Visits are the same cost as an in-person visit. Co-insurance deductibles or copayments will apply depending on your specific health plan coverage.
Your after-visit summary is available in MyCare, and a link will be emailed to you after your visit.
