Accreditation

Rochester General Hospital is proud to be nationally accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) to offer Level I & II programs of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Our CPE program was accredited in November 2019. CPE training is a primary requirement for those pursuing professional chaplaincy in the clinical setting, and seeking board certification. Most healthcare, secular, and denominational settings that employ chaplains require CPE training.
