Specialized Programs
- Brief Interventions – One to three sessions for at-risk individuals
- Gambling Treatment – Screening and referrals to certified specialists through the Central New York Problem Gambling Resource Center
- Impaired Driver Assessment & Treatment – OASAS-authorized program
- LGBTQ+ Affirming Care – Safe, respectful care for LGBTQ+ and transgender individuals, with confidentiality and support for identity-related needs
- Adolescent Services – Evidence-based interventions for teens and families, including coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and improved socialization
Substance Use
- Substance Use Evaluations
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) – Evidence-based medications to manage withdrawal and cravings, including:
- Buprenorphine (Suboxone®, Subutex®), Sublocade®, Oral Naltrexone, Campral®, Vivitrol®, Gabapentin, Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors, and more
- Ancillary Withdrawal – Supports individuals withdrawing from alcohol and opioids in the outpatient program through nursing support, medications, and counseling services
- Referrals – Assistance connecting patients and families to additional resources
Private, convenient, and flexible care on your terms. Access chemical dependency therapy online with the same trusted care and confidentiality as in-person visits.
Maternal Wrap Around Program (M-WRAP)
M-WRAP provides comprehensive care coordination and recovery support services to pregnant and postpartum parents with a substance use disorder. M-WRAP is available to parents up to 12 months after the birth event to assist in alleviating barriers to health care services.
Group Therapy
St. Lawrence Health Outpatient SUD offices offer in-person Group Therapy sessions with a focus on talk therapy, art therapy, coping and management skills, and continued education. Topics are based on current need, and include, but are not limited to:
