ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Regional Health has named Mandy Teeter, MBA, MSW, President of Unity Hospital, where she previously served as chief operating officer. After returning as interim president in September, she now takes the helm permanently, bringing a deep connection to Unity's teams and a track record of making healthcare work better.
"Mandy knows Unity, and she understands that the best ideas often come from the people closest to patient care," said Richard 'Chip' Davis, PhD, CEO of Rochester Regional Health. "She has the experience required to turn those ideas into real improvements, and that's the kind of leadership that makes a difference for our team members and the patients we serve."
Most recently, Teeter built and led Rochester Regional Health's Transformation Management Office, helping teams streamline workflows, improve operations and make better use of resources. Her leadership earned national recognition when Becker's Hospital Review named her among its 2026 Chief Transformation Officers to Know.
"Unity has always been special to me because of the people," Teeter said. "I know how much pride our teams take in caring for this community. I'm excited to work alongside them to make their jobs easier and the care we provide even better."
Teeter began her healthcare career as a behavioral health therapist before advancing into hospital leadership. That experience continues to shape her approach to supporting caregivers and removing barriers to quality care.
