RRH Names Dr. Leslie Wong as First Chief Clinical Officer

Rochester, NY — Rochester Regional Health has appointed Leslie Wong, MD, MBA, FACP, FASN, as Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, effective March 23. This is a new, strategically aligned leadership role at RRH.

As Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Wong will oversee clinical practice across Rochester Regional Health, including the provider enterprise, the Clinically Integrated Network (GRIPA), and Graduate Medical Education. The role reflects a more integrated, systemwide approach to care delivery designed to strengthen coordination, quality, and patient outcomes.

Dr. Wong joined Rochester Regional Health in 2024 as Executive Medical Director for the Medicine Service Line, where he helped advance clinical integration and systemwide strategy. A nationally recognized nephrologist, he brings extensive experience in clinical leadership, value based care, and building high-performing teams. He is known for strengthening care delivery models, supporting physician engagement, and improving quality, patient experience, and operational performance.

This leadership transition will position Rochester Regional Health to continue meeting the evolving needs of the communities it serves.
