ROCHESTER, N.Y. —Rochester Regional Health (RRH) celebrated the opening of the new Rochester Mental Health Center, bringing its existing outpatient mental health and addiction recovery services together in one modern, purpose-built facility designed to make care more accessible, more connected and closer to the people who need it.
The $5 million center, located at 1381 East Ridge Road in Irondequoit, is situated on a public transportation route and within a growing RRH healthcare campus. By bringing mental health and addiction recovery services together in one convenient location, the center makes it easier for patients to access coordinated care while connecting to other Rochester Regional Health services nearby.
"The future of healthcare is connected care, and behavioral health is an essential part of that future," said Richard 'Chip' Davis, Chief Executive Officer of Rochester Regional Health. "This investment reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are by bringing services together in the communities we serve. When care is connected, it's easier to access, easier to navigate and better equipped to support the whole person."
Designed with healing in mind, the new center provides a welcoming environment that supports collaboration among care teams while reducing barriers to care for patients and families.
