"Caring is about listening. I take time to listen to children, to engage them. I make them feel that they are heard. I don't rush the visit."
Dr. Sarah Marques has pediatrics in her DNA. The daughter of a pediatrician, she says, "My role model is my Dad. He always has time for both kids and parents, and looks at aspects of children's health beyond the medical." Diet, environment, schooling, family dynamics - Dr. Marques is well-versed in a wide range of children's health issues. As the mother of two children, she combines her firsthand knowledge of parenting with special interests in adolescent medicine, early childhood development, and autism.
