Dr. Lori Medeiros is the Executive Director of the Breast Service line for Rochester Regional Health and the Executive Director for Cancer Business Development at Rochester Regional Health. She also serves as Chair of Bylaws committee at Rochester General Hospital. She received her medical degree and completed her specialty training at McGill University. She subsequently received her MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Dr. Medeiros is a surgeon who specializes in treating breast cancer and disease of the breast and is the Director of the Rochester Regional Breast Center. She is board certified by both the American Board of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is also certified in breast ultrasound through the Society of Breast Surgeons. Her current research interests focus on the development of new technologies and their application to detection and treatment of breast cancer. Dr. Medeiros is a frequent presenter to patient and community organizations, as well as media and professional groups on breast cancer, breast diseases and breast surgery.
