I am from Upstate New York and have lived in Rochester since graduating from RIT. Prior to becoming a midwife, I was actually a project manager in the photography industry until I experienced some personal struggles with fertility and had a life-changing delivery with a fantastic labor nurse. Following that experience, I decided to return to school to become a labor and delivery nurse myself. I attended Monroe Community College and worked as a patient care tech in the Special Care Nursery at Rochester General Hospital (RGH). After graduation, I ultimately made my way to Greece and Unity Hospital. After working in labor & delivery for many years, I realized I could have a positive impact on patients by supporting them throughout pregnancy and not just at delivery, so I made the decision to go back to school and become a midwife. I graduated from Philadelphia University in 2014 and have been happily caring for patients in the Unity OB/GYN office in Brockport since. My focus is to give my patients information, support, and the tools they need to be healthier and happier. I love being a midwife.
