“One of the rewards of my profession is having college students return to me for advice and guidance, patients who I have followed since their birth.”Dr. Jordan’s exposure in medical school to influential neonatologists and pediatricians, including a one-year working relationship with well-known Iranian-American chief of pediatrics Mohsen Ziai, led him to the care of children.Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Jordan graduated cum laude from Northern Michigan University and earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his pediatrics internship and residency at the University of Rochester, where he also served as pediatric chief resident. He serves as Medical Director for the Rochester General Medical Group Child Health Division, and is Chairman of the Quality and Health Information Committee. Dr. Jordan has worked in child abuse and neglect since the ‘90s.He coaches baseball, watches his children play hockey and soccer, and describes his ideal day as climbing a high peak in the Adirondacks or canoeing in the wilderness.
