Meet the Faculty

  • Labonte_Tammy

    Tammy Labonte, MS, RN

    Mrs. Labonte is the associate director at Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing since October of 2017 and has been full time faculty since April of 2008.  She is a registered nurse whose education includes earning a MS in Nursing Education at St. John Fisher College in 2010 and received BSN from SUNY Brockport in 2000.  She has practiced as a registered nurse since 2000 within the area of medical-surgical nursing, specializing in cardiology.  Past professional roles include clinical adjunct for St. John Fisher, clinical resource nurse, staff development and clinical education.  She is a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and the National League for Nursing. 

  • Jobena Robinson

    Jobena Robinson, MS, RN

    Mrs. Robinson is Lead Faculty at Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing. She is a registered nurse whose education includes earning a MSN in Nursing Education from Walden University in 2013, BSN from University of Rochester in 2004, BS in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Med from East Stroudsburg University. She has practiced as a registered nurse since 2004 within the areas of pediatrics, obstetrics, labor and delivery, brain injury and rehabilitation, community health, behavioral health, and school health. Past professional roles include program coordinator and nurse consultant for the Nurse Family Partnership Program’s local implementing agency and National Service Office, nurse educator and staff nurse. She has a passion for global health and has volunteered with Intervol as a medical professional for two medical trips to Haiti in 2010 and 2012. She is a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, the National League for Nursing, and Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.

  • Calloway_Andrea_RN

    Andrea Calloway, BSN, RN

    Mrs. Calloway has been faculty at IGH since 2017.  She is a registered nurse whose education includes earning her BSN at St. John Fisher in 2008, an Associates in Health Science in 2006 from MCC and is currently enrolled in the Master’s in Nursing Education at the University of Rochester. Mrs. Calloway has over 30 years of healthcare experience and has been an employee at Rochester General Hospital since 1994.  Past professional roles include staff nursing, developing and working as a Nurse Navigator supporting breast cancer patients and their families, and Practice managing for GYN Oncology.  She is a proud member of the NLN and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

  • Flynn

    Catherine Flynn, MS, RN

    Mrs. Flynn has been faculty at IGH since 2018.  She received her Masters in Nursing Education from Keuka College in 2014, her BSN from The College at Brockport in 2012. She has been adjunct teaching in a variety of school settings for four years. She has 34 years of healthcare experience and a practicing Registered Nurse for Twenty plus years.  Some roles she has held have been in the office setting, floor nursing, Charge Nurse along with Community Health as a School Nurse.  Mrs. Flynn is excited to share her passion for nursing with our students.

  • Kulp_Jeremy

    Jeremy Kulp, BSN, RN, CCRN-K

    Mr.  Kulp started as a clinical adjunct for IGH in 2018 and became full time faculty in 2018. His Education includes a completed BSN in 2014 from the Roberts Wesleyan College and current matriculation in the Masters of Nursing Education at Roberts Wesleyan College that will be completed in May of 2019. He has been a practicing Registered Nurse since 2014. His area of clinical expertise mostly in Adult Critical Care with a focus on Neurology and Emergency Medicine. Jeremy currently maintains his Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) with membership to the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) along with The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). Jeremy is also an Eagle Scout and lifelong member of the Boy Scouts of America. 

  • Stewart_Anna

    Anna Stewart, MS, RN

    Mrs. Stewart started at IGH as a clinical adjunct in 2013 and became full time faculty January of 2017.  Anna started her nursing career in 2002 as a LPN.  She has been a practicing registered nurse since 2008.  She completed her Associate in Applied science of nursing at MCC in 2008, obtained her master’s in education in 2013 from Keuka College and a post master’s certificate for nursing informatics in 2015 from Excelsior College.  She has worked primarily in Adult Med/Surg, Geriatrics and in community health and is a member of National League for Nursing, American Association Critical Care Nurses, American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. 

  • Erin Vernetti

    Erin Vernetti, MS, RN

    Miss Vernetti has been faculty at IGH since 2019. She has been a practicing Registered Nurse since 2013 after obtaining her BSN from the University of Rochester. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Stony Brook University and Master’s Degree from St. John Fisher College. She completed the Legal Nurse Consultant program at the University of Rochester in March 2019. She is a certified Yoga Teacher through Open Sky Yoga Center and received certificates in both Hikyoga and Children’s Yoga. She is a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, National League for Nursing, as well as the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). Miss Vernetti’s areas of clinical expertise mainly comprise surgical nursing with particular skills in both cardiac surgery and pediatric care. She has worked as both a staff nurse in the Operating Room as well as the Educator for the Pediatric Operating Room at the Golisano Children’s Hospital. She has a special passion for volunteering and proudly coordinated and participated in a medical mission trip in Ollantaytambo, Cusco, Peru, as well as a surgical mission work in Migori, Kenya. Teaching is a passion Miss Vernetti shares with the IGH faculty and she looks forward to helping influence the next generation of nurses in our community.

  • Holly Kolstad

    Holly Kolstad, MS, RN

    Ms. Kolstad has been faculty at IGH since May 2019. She began her education to become a registered nurse at Finger Lakes Community College and graduated with an Associates in Nursing in 2011. After working as a registered nurse on a Medical-Surgical floor she advanced her education with a BSN in nursing at Suny Delhi graduating in 2015. In December 2018 Ms. Kolstad graduated with a Masters in Nursing Education also at Suny Delhi. She has 9 years of healthcare experience and has been an employee for Rochester Regional for all 9 years, starting as a PCT while in nursing school. Past professional roles include staff nursing, creating and coordinating a total joint replacement program at Newark Hospital, and worked as a clinical resource nurse for the Rochester Regional Health Eastern Region. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and National League for Nursing.

  • Karsen Scanlon

    Karsen Scanlon, MS, RN-BC

    Mrs. Scanlon has been faculty at IGH since 2019, specializing in simulation instruction. She has been a practicing registered nurse since 2012. She obtained her BS in Nursing from St. John Fisher College in 2012 as well as her MS as an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2017. Karsen’s area of clinical expertise is cardiothoracic surgery. Past professional roles include working as clinical resource nurse, clinical adjunct, as well as the cardiothoracic surgery clinical nurse specialist during the launch of the ventricular assist device program at Rochester Regional Health. Karsen is board certified as a cardiac vascular nurse as well as an adult gerontology clinical nurse specialist. She maintains membership to the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, National League for Nursing and the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning.

  • Matthew Klapetzky

    Matthew Klapetzky, MS, RN-BC

    Mr. Klapetzky has been faculty since 2019. He has been a practicing registered nurse since 2005 after obtaining his BSN from Nazareth College. He has also obtained a Master’s degree from the Simon School of Business, a BS in Biology from the University of Rochester (UR), and a Chemistry A.S. degree from Monroe Community College. Mr. Klapetzky’s nursing experience includes the critical care settings of burns and trauma and he has overseen numerous public health and vaccination education/provision programs, along with a travel medicine clinic. He is a member of the National League for Nursing and maintains certifications in Gerontology and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses. Mr. Klapetzky is passionate about the environment and providing support to the medically underserved, and supports both through education, humanitarian support, and research.”

  • Grace Dengler

    Grace Dengler, MS, RN

    Ms. Dengler has been faculty since 2019 at IGH. She has worked for Rochester Regional Health since 2012and has been an RN for 9 years. Prior to joining the IGH team, she worked as a Manager for Short Term Rehabilitation and Transitional Care Unit at Hill Haven Nursing Home (RGH affiliate). Prior to that role, she worked as a Clinical IT Analyst for 3.5 years. She has an MS in Nursing Executive Leadership and Management, Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Bachelors in Computer Science. For the last 4 years, Ms. Dengler has been an Adjunct professor for St. Xavier University where she teachers Nursing Informatics. She is also an adjunct for Roberts Wesleyan College Health Administration program with 3 years of teaching online and face to face for the college. In 2019, Ms. Dengler was the recipient of the 2019 Outstanding Faculty award at Roberts Wesleyan College. Ms. Dengler is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

  • Stewart_Tammy

    Tammy Stewart

    As the Admissions Coordinator for the Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing, Tammy will focus on connecting educational opportunities for the community and throughout the organization. She will interact with prospective students to guide them on the career path, assist in the admissions process, and continue to foster their success as they embark on a new and exciting career in Healthcare. She is focused on engaging our community and our existing RRH team members in the opportunities, information, and resources to insure that this process is seamless. Prior to her role with IGHSPN, she has worked in various roles within Rochester Regional Health, to include providing Administrative Support for a successful implementation of Care Connect and most recently providing executive level support to the department of Emergency Medicine at RGH. She is humbled by the opportunity to work in this phenomenal role. She has lived and worked in the Rochester area for over 35 years, and is delighted to be a part of such an innovative opportunity to support the mission of Rochester Regional Health!

  • Talcott_Dorothea

    Dorothea "Thea" Talcott

    As the administrative coordinator for IGH since 2017, Ms. Talcott provides administrative assistance for the Associate Director, faculty, staff and the students by providing support, assisting in daily office and program needs and managing the program’s general administrative activities.  She brings to this role over 20 years of experience along with an Associate’s Degree in Administrative Office Technology.  She is the friendly voice that will most likely greet your call when you call IGHSPN and believes that the best part of her job is getting to know and support the students in their nursing endeavor!  

  • Kranz_Heidi

    Heidi Kranz, MS Ed.

    Ms. Kranz graduated from Nazareth College with a Master of Science in Education, and Bachelor of Science from The College at Brockport, majoring in Psychology. Her prior clinical background includes working as an Addiction Therapist, specializing in concurrent disorders. She worked at Unity for approximately ten years in both inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency treatment. Ms. Kranz has worked for the last 15 years in higher education providing counseling and academic support. She has also taught courses in Psychology, Critical Thinking, and Strategies for College Success. Student success is her passion, and Ms. Kranz is committed to assisting students achieve their academic/career goals at the Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing.
